A small color study done form the amazing photo on the cover of her book. As with the other artists I admired, I copied her colors and proportions but not her subject matter. The mixes of colors that take her away from "crayola" type ones and just amazing. I learn every time I look at her work.

The delightful painting hidden in this abstract color study is a young lady painting. It is one of my favorites. I continue to be amazed at how he puts colors together. I never would have thought of the lovely aqua and that subtle red. (if red can ever be subtle)
