"Friendship Harbor Walkway"

I spent a week painting in the Rockland Maine ares in June this year. I love that area because it not only has lots of artists and art, but it also has a lot of areas nearby where great painting subjects can be found. I am currently working toward a show that is about the working waterfront and this picture is one of the first I did that I liked. It was not the angle I thought I would want to use, but I found the wonderful combo of shade under a tree and an appealing view!
