A Murder in the Garden Club
OK, this was fun. I did this painting to be used as the cover for a book by a friend,
Neal Sanders (available through Amazon, and a good read too). It was fun to see it published. In painting it, I wanted to show a normal suburban setting, but get a somewhat sinister sense, like something is not quite right. I did that through the mood of the light, with an approaching storm and a watering can tipped over with - what??? - dribbling out of it. Soon I will start on his next book's cover - "Murder for a Worthy Cause".
